Hi,
Have you ever wondered why that little moisture sticker under the battery cover turned pink? It's possible this happened because of steam or extreme humidity. Steam from a shower would be more likely though. Luckily most insurance covers water damage, but they didn't used to, which is why this little sticker exists.
Can steam from a shower actually damage your phone? Sure - it's still water and your phone is electronic. If enough water vapor collects on your phone and turns back into water it could cause a short. Is it likely? Probably not - unless you take very long showers without any type of ventilation. Furthermore, the water has to actually make its way into the phone. Phones don't have as many openings as they used to, especially touch screen only phones.
If your phone does get water in it via shower steam there is an up side. After things dry they are less likely to cause damage if they haven't already. Here's why: There are much less contaminants in the air. Steam is much more pure than shower water. Contaminants from water could be left on the phones circuit board, causing shorts and buttons to not work at all.
Please help.
Thanks!
I didn't find the right solution from the Internet.
