ABOUT LEATHER JACKET

Hi,

So I recently shrunk my leather jacket in the washing machine to get the perfect fit. After a cycle in the dryer most of the moisture has been removed from the jacket (still some left, I got the jacket rested on a towel). I was wondering if the jacket and the collar will shrivel as it dries and if so, how do I keep it from happening?
Please help.
